based on this picture we can conclude that the plate tectonic was one big piece and now It Is a bunch of little pieces , they are getting separate.I do agree that plate tectonic move because we can see based on this picture how separate they are.If plate tectonic stop moving i think It will be good for earth because they won't be no earthquakes an volcano will be dormant.The layers of earth are crust , mantle, inner core, outer core .
